Local Planting Project in School
The local planting project in school is an event where students are given the opportunity to care for plants, learn about gardening and meet new friends.
We were excited to take part in the indigenous planting project at this school. The first one we attended was Ban Na Walprian School, Sam Roi Yot District of Prachuap Khiri Khan province. The school is located in a location not far from the sea, so it's possible that this time there was an issue with... "must plant trees and salt-loving plants."
The Foundation team has come up with a solution for our school's students and teachers! We will plant 4 types of salt-tolerant plants, which totaled 52 trees in total. First though - before starting any planting activity--we'll create an ecosystem that is more suitable to growing your seedlings.
Foundation team members were also able to provide children with knowledge about forests, soils and soil microorganisms before planting.
We all thank teachers and children for their intention to learn, do fun activities together. The work that you are doing is very important in this regard; therefore I would like to ask everyone's support so we can make more green spaces at the school premises 😊
